Yesterday at my 11-year-old daughter's parent-teacher conferences, I welled up. I often feel guilty about being so hard on my children, requiring them to complete daily household chores and making them live without a cell phone, to name a few major things. So to hear Paysen's homeroom teacher praise her kind heart and nurturing behavior, I felt a wave of relief. She continually helps classmates in times of need without compromising the quality of her own work.
Last weekend, the morning of her first basketball tournament ever, Paysen asked me if I had any MFL Bulldogs gear to wear in support of her. Unfortunately, I didn't yet. So here I am introducing my first piece of apparel in my little sweetheart's honor.
