Layering With Lace

Layering with lace!

That's what we are here to talk about today, and how layering is very on trend right now.

Lace has made a comeback over the past few years and is really present this year in tops. So we have brought you the Murdo White Floral Lace Bodysuit and the Pierre Black Floral Bodysuit. This top has a mock neck style and a snap closure for the bodysuit. I wore the size small and thought there was a very good amount of stretch as well as length in the torso. Even my long torso gals can stick true to size on this one.

Before layering this beautiful bodysuit, I want to give it the glory that it deserves and note that it doesn't NEED to be layered. It is a great top on its own. You will need to wear something underneath it, as it is see-through. I paired a simple white spaghetti strap cami underneath mine. I chose to wear it first with a pair of jeans and some booties. I added the silvertone concho belt to give it an even more feminine feel. This is an effortlessly chic look.

Next, I paired it with a graphic tee. I LOVE how it adds texture and dimension to the outfit. This can easily be paired with some shorts, as I did, or even a pair of jeans. Add your boots, and you are done with this edgy version of this top. This would be great for going to see your local band play, a night of bowling with family or friends or take with you to your country festival this summer to wear when it cools off at night.

With a dress, it's so simple to throw this bodysuit on underneath your favorite dress. Whether it's a high-neck dress or a deep v-neck, this bodysuit's consistent pattern will show through no matter the style. This top is great for giving dresses or tops a more modest look or even just being able to wear year-round.

I hope you all love this top and find it as much fun as I have.  ~Brooke
