For today's blog post, I was struggling to come up with something interesting to write about. Like I mentioned in my Broker Leather Herd Top Hands [VIP Group] on Facebook, "I don't feel I live a very exciting life."

But apparently, that's not how others see it. Yesterday, Grace told me that my life actually seems... intriguing.

So, in search of inspiration, I did what any creative brain does — I took a big 'ol scroll through my phone's screenshot folder. That’s where I landed on a photo I’d saved from Instagram — a post from an entertainer I met while in Nashville.

In the picture, Lee — one of the brothers from the Doubleshot Band [who have since rebranded as The Huffer Brothers] — is leaned up against the stage, arms crossed, proudly wearing a Goodyear trucker hat. He’s looking down, admiring his boots, next to a flooded tip jar. The caption read:

"When you're rolling this fast, you have to have good tread."

I have to assume Lee was talking about the band's whirlwind hustle — bouncing from one gig to the next. But honestly, that line stuck with me for a different reason...

It's Hitting Me — Hard

Because life sure feels like that sometimes.

If you know me, you know I thrive on structure and calm at home. I love my routine, my quiet mornings, and my tidy spaces. But get me away from home — say, on the streets of Nashville — and suddenly I’m let out of the chute like a bucking bull.

Wide open. Full throttle. Soaking in the chaos like I was made for it.

And honestly? It feels good. Once in a while.

Confidence in the Chaos

During that trip, I wore a crop top that showed my not-so-toned belly — and I felt confident in it.

I didn’t suck in my stomach, hide behind layers, or stress about what anyone thought. I just let myself be me.

That’s what I want for you, too.
