Giving Tuesday, the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, is a day that encourages us to give back.

As a small, community-based business, I truly enjoy the opportunity that I have to make a difference in people's lives.  Rarely ever do I turn down an opportunity to give back to my community. I am honored to have been able to make donations for the following needs, plus more:

🙏🏽 Local cancer benefits
🙏🏽 Local firefighters benefits
🙏🏽 Local school fundraisers
🙏🏽 Local Fair Queens + Showman
🙏🏽 Memorial fundraisers
🙏🏽 Victims of home fires

In celebration of today's Giving Tuesday, we are requesting your help with our donation.  We'd like to make a donation of gently used boots to The Depot Outlet in your honor. The Depot Outlet is a local nonprofit owned by Winneshiek County area Christian churches. They operate a recycled clothing, book, and home goods store at 510 Montgomery Street, in Decorah, Iowa. All of their profits go back to Winneshiek County nonprofit organizations.

How can you help?

From now until end of business hours, Thursday, 12/2, bring in a gently used pair of boots for us to donate and receive 25% off your entire purchase that day.  Please bring your gently used pair of boots to Broker Leather, 101 E Water St., Decorah, IA 52101.  Our staff will be ready with a coupon code specific to you to purchase a new pair of boots, or any other good in our store, for 25% off.
