The most recent favorite bedtime story in our home is “The Stranger” by Chris Van Allsburg. The book cover is now missing and several of the pages are creased, but Paysen still chooses to have us read this story over and over.
The book begins with Mr. Bailey thinking he had hit a deer with his pickup; however, it turned out it was a man. He was dressed in rough leather clothing, like the durable material of these men’s square-toed Anderson Bean boots. Contrast of color of is a theme I noticed in the book. The delay in turning of leaf colors, which is later understood to be caused by “The Stranger.”
Contrast or differentiation is something I notice at Broker Leather daily, also. What one customer thinks is drab and ugly is what another loves... like this classic and basic pair of deer tan, square toed, Anderson Bean boots.
