As I giggled with my girls as they sang Payne a Happy Birthday last night, I peered out the patio door at our pond.
Its water level has been ever-changing in this wet weather. I can't help but imagine it as my Ocean Front Property [add white sand, sunshine, and sea shells]. It may be far from an ocean, but hey, it's bigger than the puddles that I will be driving through today on my way to work.
A girl can dream of her summer vacation home while watching thunderstorms roll by, right? After the clouds dissipate, we will keep wading through our shallow driveway puddles until we make it to the beach. But for now, I will have to be patient and wait for Payne to surprise me with our very own Ocean Front Property.
